The loading dock will be open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14. Exhibit deliveries should be made to the Calgary TELUS Convention Center North Loading Dock, 705-1st Street S.E. Calgary, Alberta.

If you are bringing materials, drive into the loading dock (corner of 1st Street and 7th Avenue) with your booth number ready. Superior Shows representatives will take your materials to your booth. Once your vehicle is unloaded, exit the loading dock and park at one of the parking lots in the area, including the one at the Convention Centre.
Please note that parking is at your cost and will not be reimbursed. When you enter the Convention Centre, take the escalator to the second level and follow signage to the exhibitor entrance, a grey door on the west/left side of the exhibit hall. Entry through the main glass doors is only possible during show hours.
February 14, 2024 a CCTCA exhibits representative will be present in Exhibit Hall from 9:00 AM - Noon and 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM to direct you to your booth location and give you the WiFi password as well as exhibitor passes. These passes must be shown to security to enter through the exhibitor entrance Thursday and Friday morning between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. If you arrive during normal exhibit hours, you may enter through the main glass doors and a pass is not required.
Please note the latest time exhibitors may arrive to set up booths is Wednesday February 14, 2024 6:30 PM. Your booth must be set up by 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Should unforeseen circumstances arise where you will not arrive by 6:30 PM, it is imperative that you notify CCTCA Past President immediately at cctcapastpresident@gmail.com. Exhibitors who fail to contact the CCTCA Past President will not be permitted to set-up on Thursday of the convention. The exhibit booth will be cancelled with no compensation.
During Convention
**During the convention, if assistance is required, dial 333 on a beige house phone found on the outer walls of the exhibit hall.**
Exhibit hours are:
Thursday February 15th 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Booths must remain open Thursday until 3:30 PM
Friday February 16th 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Booths must remain open Friday until 3:00 PM. Please do not dismantle your display prior to the prescribed times.
NOTE, there are approximately 12,000 registered guests at Calgary City Teachers Convention.
There are scheduled sessions with 45 minutes to one hour to move between sessions. As an in-person exhibitor you will experience an increase in visitation during these times. Sessions start at 9:00 am, 10:45 am, 12:30 pm and 2:15 pm. Keynotes in MacLeod Hall and Spotlight Speakers, Exhibit Hall Theatre are scheduled Thursday February 15 at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm and Friday February 16 at 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
There are a number of redesigns to increase traffic through the exhibitor hall.
Spotlight presentations are located in Exhibitor Hall Theatre. Therefore exhibitors will note a surge of people entering the exhibitor hall as sessions end approximately every two hours starting at 10:00 am, last session ends at 3:00 pm.
The Teacher's Connect Lounge will be located at the back of exhibitor hall, increasing teacher presence.

Move-Out & Storage for the Palliser Teachers' Convention
Representatives from Global Show Services will visit each booth during convention to hand out instructions on move-out. In general this process works in the exact reverse of move-in. Exhibitors will pack up their materials and identify all materials with their booth number. At the end of the day, Global Show Services will move supplies to the loading dock for pick-up. All display materials must be removed from the exhibit floor by 7:00 PM on Friday.
Exhibitors wishing to store their materials until the Palliser Teachers' Convention the week after the Calgary City Teachers' Convention may arrange to do so using the Global Services order forms.
