By typing "YES" in the box below, you (the "exhibitor") accept full responsibility and acknowledge the following:

1. Physical booth spaces WILL NOT be available until the Chief Medical Officer of Alberta approves large group settings.  Exhibitor booths purchased at this time will be a combination of virtual booths which MAY be offered a transition to physical booth spaces IF physical booths are released.  IF physical booth spaces become available the number of booths transitioning to the physical space WILL be limited.  Virtual booth holders will be offered the FIRST RIGHT TO REFUSE the transition to a physical booth before they are offered/released to general purchasers for purchase.

2.  Once there is direction regarding large events in Alberta, we will transfer online booths to a physical booth space on location.  Exhibitor booths MAY be limited due to distancing regulations.  DUE to limited physical booth spaces exhibitors booth space choice MAY not be available to an exhibitor.  The CCTCA WILL NOT guarantee physical booth availability or choice of exhibitor booth space selection if on-site exhibitor space becomes available.   Physical booth selection will not be available to all virtual registered booths.

3.  The transition to a physical booth will be offered to virtual booth purchases based upon date and time of purchase reflected in purchasing time stamps.  If a virtual exhibitor transitions to a physical booth space on location, based upon availability the exhibitor will be required to pay the balance of fees on their account (outstanding 50% plus GST) known as a demand payment.  If payment is not received the exhibitor booth will remain a virtual booth. No refunds WILL be available.

4.  If an exhibitor does not wish to transition to a physical booth they are NOT required to transition to a physical booth if the physical booth space becomes available.  Each exhibitor registered with a virtual booth will be offered the opportunity to host a physical booth until all available physical exhibitor booths are filled.  Calgary City Teachers' Convention Association CANNOT guarantee the opportunity to transition to a physical booth.  Potential exhibitors CANNOT purchase a physical booth bypassing the virtual purchasing process.

5. If an exhibitor transitions to an on-site exhibitor all property which the exhibitor displays or is authorized to display during the course of the Calgary City Teachers' Convention in the allocated portion of the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre premises is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor.  All liability for loss or damage of such property whatsoever shall be the sole risk of the exhibitor, notwithstanding that such loss or damage may have arisen through the inadvertent or negligent acts of any person, including any and all members of the Calgary City Teachers' Convention Association, or the staff and sub-contractors of the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre.

6. The exhibitor shall protect and save harmless the Calgary City Teachers' Convention Association from and against any claim for any loss connected with or related to the presence and use of property or experienced as a virtual exhibitor.

7. The furnishing of any service or assistance shall not be construed to be any assumption of obligation or duty with respect to the protection of the exhibitor, which shall at all times remain in the sole possession and custody of each exhibitor, and shall be the sole responsibility of each exhibitor.

The exhibitor acknowledges that the Calgary City Teachers' Convention Association's booth policies have been read and understood.

The Calgary City Teachers’ Convention Association reserves the right to cancel booth registrations and refund exhibitors at it's discretion.
